Founded in 1933 and today still owned by the founder’s family, Gander & White specialise in fine art packing and shipping for museums and galleries both nationally and internationally. Museums and institutions using Gander & White’s services include: The National Trust, The Royal Collection, Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate Gallery, The Government Art Collection, The British Council, National Galleries of Scotland.

Packing – We use teams of highly skilled technicians, wholly employed by the company, with experience gained over many years both nationally and internationally.

Transport – A modern fleet of vehicles, from one to eighteen tons gross weight, purpose built trucks manned by fully experienced driver technicians. Most vehicles are air ride and temperature-controlled, and are fitted with tail lifts and sleeper cabs. All vehicles are alarmed and equipped with mobile telephones. Our latest vehicles are equipped with tracking devices and the ability to fit a second floor within the load space.

UK & European ‘Part-Load’ service – A scheduled service serving UK destinations every month and European destinations every three weeks.

Other Museum Services – Worldwide airfreight and courier services. Registered IATA agent. Installation services. High security, temperature-controlled storage. Customs warehouse authorisation. Facilities in London, West Sussex, Paris, West Palm Beach and New York.
