New Code of Practice for Cultural Collections Management

The new British Standards Institute document on Collections Management was published on 28 January. Instigated by the Collections Trust (formerly MDA) and created by a committee which included several registrars, as well as representatives from the library and archive profession, its purpose is to lay out a definition of Collections Management and give the fundamental principles of managing collections.
