The EICC is right in the centre of Edinburgh and is very easy to reach.  The main entrance is on Morrison Street.

Transport links 

  • Arriving by Air

Edinburgh International Airport is located 10km (6 miles) from the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), with a journey time of 20 – 25 minutes by taxi or bus.  Taxi ranks are situated outside the terminal building and cost is approximately £18-20 one way.  There is no need to book.

The Airlink Express 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre with designated stops en route. The bus operates between 04.45 and 00.22 hours, tickets cost £3.00 single and £5.00 return and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.  For EICC disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and follow signs for the EICC (5 minute walk.)

The N22 bus also departs from STAND 19 and runs every half an hour through the night until the Airlink service starts again.  Further information at www.flybybus.com

Reduced Bus Fares!  Edinburgh Convention Bureau has negotiated on our behalf a special discount for bus travel with Edinburgh & Lothian buses.  Delegates are entitled to reduced fares on the Airlink bus ticket but also on the city sightseeing bus tours.  Follow this link to book and print Airlink and sightseeing ticket before you arrive!   

  • Arriving by Car

The EICC is located on Morrison St in the centre of Edinburgh.  The destination postcode is EH3 8EE.

There are many car parks in close walking distance to the EICC, the closest one being the Morrison Street Car Park which is a short walk from the venue.

  • Arriving by Train

Edinburgh has high-speed rail links to all major cities in Britain. It has two railway stations – Waverley and Haymarket. Waverley is the main station in Edinburgh and has direct routes to many cities across the country.  Haymarket is the closest train station, approximately a 5 minute walk to the EICC.

Getting around Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a stunning city and exploring it on foot is a great way to see it!

For longer journeys around the city, there are plentiful buses and taxis always available.

There is no need to book a taxi.  They are readily available at both of the railway stations and at taxi ranks throughout the city.

 

 
Accommodation

Edinburgh is a cosmopolitan city with a vast range of hotel accommodation from boutique to budget.

The UKRG has appointed Edinburgh Convention Bureau (ECB) as their official accommodation booking agency.  Special room rates are available to ERC delegates in various hotels and locations within the city.

Edinburgh Convention Bureau have block booked accommodation for and is pleased to offer a free online accommodation booking service to delegates attending this meeting.  Their booking service is fully managed by their dedicated accommodation team.

Credit card details are required to make a booking and confirmation shall be sent to your e-mail address.  Payment should be made directly with the accommodation provider at the time of your stay.
